Nicholas D. Caccamise

United States Marine Corps Second Lieutenant Nicholas D. Caccamise graduated from a rigorous 18 week Military Police Officers Basic Course in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He is a 2010 graduate of Forestville Central School; after high school graduation he completed Marine Corps Recruit Training at Parris Island, South Carolina. He was accepted into the Marine Corps Officer Candidates School in Quantico Virginia and completed that training in 2014; he then graduated from SUNY Fredonia in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in history and was commissioned as a United States Marine Corps officer that summer. Nicholas is the son of David and Andrea Caccamise of Forestville, grandson of Sam and JoAnn Mancuso of Dunkirk and of George and Cynthia Caccamise of Lewiston. He is also husband to Elizabeth Caccamise (Prince) of Forestville, and father of Parker, Amelia, and Waylon Caccamise. He is now stationed at Camp Pendleton, California with his family.

…A baby girl, Harper Grace Carrus, was born on Feb. 3, 2017 to Jeffrey and Rebecca (Cowie) Carrus of Katy, Texas at Memorial Hermann in Houston. Harper is the granddaughter of Joe and Kathy Carrus of Dunkirk and Steven Cowie of Mississippi and Donna Cowie of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Great-grandparents include Joseph (late Beatrice) Catalano, late Joseph Jr. and Cecelia Carrus, all of Dunkirk, and Myrna Causey (Louisiana) and Ray (late Elaine) Cowie of Florida…
