Westfield Academy and Central School team competes at ‘We the People’

Submitted Photo

Westfield Academy and Central School sent a team to the state-wide “We the People” competition last weekend. This competition is held annually and the preparation is a class taught by Greg Birner. The students research and prepare speeches to present to a panel of judges on various topics of government and constitutional law. Then, they are asked questions by the judges and are required to give detailed answers. It’s an amazing class and an incredible opportunity for our students! Westfield received an “Honorable Mention” at the We the People competition.
