NCCF announces Sept. 1 grants deadline

The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation is accepting “Letters of Interest” from local nonprofits for the fall Community Benefit Grants Program until Sept. 1 at 4 p.m.

Letters of Interest should include a brief project description, the estimated number of people impacted by the project, the amount of funding requested and contact information. Letters are not to exceed two pages. Electronic submission via email to edunn@nccfoundation.org is strongly encouraged. Guidelines are available at www.nccfoundation.org/grants-programs or by contacting the NCCF office at 366-4892.

Following the Sept. 1 deadline, the Grants Committee will review the Letters of Interest. Nonprofits whose projects are selected by the committee will be asked to submit a full application. Applicants must be IRS designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

This program awards grants on a biannual basis for projects that address northern Chautauqua’s current needs and opportunities. This past spring, 19 grants were awarded. These grants totaled $70,029.

For more information, please contact Eileen Dunn, Program Coordinator at 366-4892 or edunn@nccfoundation.org.
