Fundraiser show and sale of dollhouse miniatures planned for Sept. 17
The Western New York Miniature enthusiasts, a non-profit organization, will sponsor its 36th annual show and sale of dollhouse miniatures on Sunday, Sept. 17 at the Grange Building on the Fairgrounds, 5820 S. Park Ave., Hamburg from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission for adults is $5.50, children under 12, $2. The event includes door prizes, miniatures, exhibits, handcrafted items, dollhouses and accessories. Greystone Bat, Bird and Butterfly Sanctuary presents: “Bat Lab” on Saturday
Greystone Bat, Bird and Butterfly Sanctuary will hold a “Bat Lab,” on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the SUNY Fredonia Science Center. Three renowned bat experts will offer presentations. Other activities include local environmental organizations’ displays, children’s activities and a bake sale. This is a free event. There will be a bat house dedication ceremony at 5 p.m.
