Brocton Central School Students of the month
The Brocton Teachers Association has selected the High School and Middle School Students of the Month for October.
Jessica Link was selected by the Brocton High School faculty and staff as Student of the Month. She is a senior at Brocton High School and resides in Brocton with her parents Steve and Liz Link.
Jessica is an exceptional student. She is currently the senior class president. She has consistently been on high honor roll.
Jessica is a dedicated student and is involved in numerous clubs and activities including Running Club, Writer’s Anonymous, Interact, National Honor Society and French Club.
Jessica’s favorite class is French.
Outside of school, Jessica enjoys Bible quizzing and volunteering at the Patterson Library in Westfield.
In the future, Jessica would like to study molecular biology and genetics, with a concentration in human genetic illnesses. She has been accepted to the University of West Virginia and is waiting to hear back from Liberty University.
“All of my interactions with Jessica have been positive. Last year she participated in several Art Club activities including the Empty Bowls Fundraiser. She is a responsible, respectful and kind individual from my experience!, “ said Stephanie Brash, Art Teacher, BCS.

Porter Walters was selected by the Brocton Middle School faculty and staff as Student of the Month. Porter is a seventh grade student at Brocton Middle School and resides in Brocton with his parents Aaron and April Walters.
Porter is an excellent student and is involved in band. Porter’s favorite class is art.
Outside of school, Porter takes karate classes in Fredonia. He also enjoys reading and drawing.
“Porter has been in band as a member of the percussion section since the 5th grade.He always tries his hardest and likes to make others laugh with his witty dry humor,” said Brian Hornbuckle, Band Director, BCS.
