Free community yard sale at Cross Roads on Saturday

WESTFIELD — There will be a free community yard sale rain or shine on Saturday at Cross Roads Farm & Craft Market, 6017 Sherman-Westfield Road. Any yard sale or flea market items can be set up for FREE in the parking lot or pavilion from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sunday Family Breakfast scheduled for Forest Lodge

Forest Lodge 166 F & A.M. will hold its monthly Sunday Family Breakfast on Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This all-you-can-eat breakfast will consist of eggs made to order, pancakes or French toast, sausages, fruit cocktail, toast, juice, milk, coffee, and tea.

Adults and teenagers 13 and up $7.50, children 6 to 12 $3, kids 5 and under are free. Public is welcome and cordially invited to attend, as is anyone with interests in, or has questions about Free Masonry. Forest Lodge is located at 321 East Main St. (Route 20), Fredonia.

Fredonia American Legion 59 Auxiliary sponsoring meat raffle

Fredonia American Legion 59 Auxiliary, 156 E. Main St., Fredonia, is sponsoring a meat raffle on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. Steak, turkey, ham roasts, shrimp and steak platter raffle options are planned. Proceeds will benefit the Blue Star Mothers’ program of sending packages to troops overseas. A box will be available for attendees to drop off items to be sent to the troops. Chocolate cannot be accepted.

Fredonia High School Pops Concert scheduled for Oct. 24

The Fredonia High School music department will present its Pops Concert in the school auditorium at 7 p.m. on Oct. 24. Groups will include Jazz Ensemble, String Orchestra, Chamber Choir, Madrigals Singers and Symphonic Band. It will be preceded by the Tri-M Honor Society Induction at 5:30 p.m. The concert is open to the public.
