ANGOLA — Five students in the Lake Shore High School Music Department have been accepted into the Junior High Area All-State Honors Music Ensembles.

Freshmen Chloe Budziszewski (Soprano I – chorus), Kaylee Guzman (Alto I – chorus), Julie Ann Ketcher (violin – orchestra), Rebecca Myers (Soprano I – chorus), and Elizabeth Sreniawski (Soprano II – chorus) have been chosen to join an elite group of musicians based on their skills and talent.

These young ladies were chosen to be in the select SSA (Treble) Chorus and Orchestra (comprised of top notch 7th-9th grade musicians across Western New York), based on their outstanding New York State School of Music Association Spring 2017 Vocal/Instrumental Solo Festival ratings.

They have been preparing multiple music selections on their own time and rehearsed together before performing at the Akron Central School District on Nov. 4.
