Eliza Czolowski and Christopher Whiting, together with their families, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Adam and Barbara Czolowski of Purling, New York, formerly of Dunkirk. The prospective groom is the son of Kenneth and Anne Whiting of Hanover, Massachusetts.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Dunkirk High School. Both she and her fiance are 2009 graduates of Allegheny College, where she received a degree in environmental science, and he received a degree in physics. She went on to receive her master’s in environmental science from SUNY Environmental School of Forestry in Syracuse. The couple make their home in Ithaca, where he is employed at the Particle Accelerator Lab at Cornell University, and she is an environmental scientist for PSE Healthy Energy.
