Ashley Marie Willebrandt and Phillip Julian James were united in marriage on Sept. 2, 2017 at the College Lodge in Brocton with Tim Eisaman officiating the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of David and Jena Willebrandt of Brocton. The groom is the son of Peter and April James of Gorham, Maine.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an off the shoulder lace bodice floor length tulle ball gown and proudly wore her Grandma Willebrandt’s old treasure, first communion veil and carried a beautiful eco flower bouquet wrapped in her Grampa’s hankie with his initials on it and tied with her Grammie’s wedding band to hold them close to her on her special day.

Anne Willebrandt and Ashley Willebrandt, cousins of the bride, served as Maid and Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids included Shannon Cruz, best friend of the bride and groom, along with Amanda James and Rachael James, sisters of the groom. Cousin of the bride Emma Willebrandt served as a Junior Bridesmaid. Each girl wore a navy dress in their choice of style and carried yellow eco flower bouquets.

The groom wore a grey suit with a navy tie. Serving as Best Lady was the groom’s best friend, Vanessa Towers of Tucson, Arizona. Groomsmen were Richard Cruz, best friend of the bride and groom, along with Aaron Willebrandt and Justin Willebrandt, brothers of the bride. The best lady wore a floor length silver gown and the groomsmen wore light grey dress slacks with navy dress shirts and yellow bowties with suspenders. Junior Groomsmen were Ethan Willebrandt, cousin of the bride and Anthony Cruz, godson/nephew of the bride.

Flower girl and ring girl were Kendalyn Cruz, niece of the bride and Sydney Winton, cousin of the bride.

Special readings during the ceremony were given by cousin of the bride, Jake Willebrandt of Rochester and the father of the groom. A night of fun and dancing followed at the couple’s reception.

The couple reside in their home in Brocton and plan to honeymoon this summer to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to sip on butter beer.
