SUNY Fredonia Scholarships

The State University of New York at Fredonia recently announced scholarship recipients for the 2017-18 academic year. Scholarships are made possible by private donors and foundations, most of whom made gifts to the Fredonia College Foundation. Among the new scholarship recipients are the following students:

Chautauqua County

Michaela Tramuta of Fredonia, a senior majoring in musical theatre, has received the Zola Graf Scholarship for $750, Bea Ullman Award for Excellence in Theatre Arts for $500 and the Children of Alumni Award for $1,000

Alexander Dimitri of Fredonia, a senior majoring in molecular genetics, has received the Wal-Mart Scholarship for $775, Fredonia President’s Science/Math Scholarship for $6,000, Joseph & Jane (Schuster) Falcone Biology Award for $500, and the NYS Scholarship for Academic Excellence for $500

Anna Booth of Fredonia, a junior majoring in history and communications, has received the Kim Korhummel Scholarship for $650

Cheyann Doud of Dewittville, a senior majoring in biochemistry, has received the Dr. Roland C. Burton Scholarship for $1,050

Benjamin Welker of Lakewood, a junior majoring in business/marketing, has received the Carnahan/Jackson Scholarship for $4,000 and the Fredonia Transfer Scholarship for $1,500

Kelsey Tulipane of Silver Creek, a junior majoring in history and social studies adolescent education, has received the John J. & Helen B. Mancuso Scholarship for $2,200

Nicholas Arcoraci of Fredonia, a junior majoring in business administration/finance, has received the John J. & Helen B. Mancuso Scholarship for $2,200

Jamison Bunge of Fredonia, a senior majoring in computer science, has received the Leslie J. & Ethel H. Shaw Community Fund Scholarship for $950

Deakyu Lee of Fredonia, a senior majoring in computer information systems has received the Schiavone Family Scholarship for $850

Morgan Bennett of Brocton, a senior majoring in environmental science, has received the James D. Burdick Memorial Scholarship for $500, Woods and Earl Memorial Scholarship for $650 and the Herbert & Marion Mackie Scholarship for $72

Katelynn Telford of Jamestown, a junior majoring in music education, has received the Doors to Opportunity Endowment for $1.350 and the Kaiser/Burch Education Scholarship for $800

Lillian Wallace of Jamestown, a senior majoring in economics, has received the Ann James Manly Scholarship for $1,000, Children of Alumni Scholarship for $1,000, Christine Dilacqua Endowment for $1,475 and the NYS Scholarship for Academic Excellence for $500

Steven Swanson of Jamestown, a senior majoring in computer information systems, has received the Lawrence M. Silvio Memorial Scholarship for $650 and the Arthur R. Maytum Scholarship for $1,000

Joseph Marsala of Mayville, a senior majoring in history, has received the John Malcolm Scholarship for $2,650

Christian Parnell of Ripley, a junior majoring in accounting, has received the Welch’s National Grape Scholarship for $2,000

Emily Marsh of Sinclairville, a senior majoring in adolescence education-mathematics, has received the Ann James Manly Scholarship for $1,000, Anthony Deiulio Memorial Scholarship for $1,450, NYS Scholarship for Academic Excellence for $500, and the Dr. N.C. & L.A. Wood Memorial Scholarship for $400

Nicholas Baglia of Jamestown, a senior majoring in social studies education and history, has received the John J. and Helen B. Mancuso Scholarship for $1,100
