Dunkirk Public Library sets upcoming events
Dunkirk Public Library storytime and craft will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m.
Children 2 to 5 years old can listen to a story and make a craft. After the story time they can play with puzzles, a dollhouse, computer games, and read! Storytime will run until June 8, take a break, and begin again the first week of July.
Dunkirk Public Library First Thursdays LEGO Building will be held the first Thursday of each month (February through June) from 3 to 5 p.m. Kids can come to the children’s room to make their own LEGO creations. Kids 5 to 10 can attend this free event. For more information, call 366-2511.
Dunkirk Public Library Second Saturdays Free Holiday Crafts and Activities are as follows:
Saturday, Feb. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Valentine heart wreath craft for kids 2 to 10 years old.
Saturday, March 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; St. Patrick’s Day Rainbow Mobile craft for kids 2 to 10 years old.
Saturday, April 8 from 10:30 to 11 a.m.; the library’s annual Easter Egg Hunt for kids 2 to 10 years old. Be sure to come early; the eggs are found in a flash!
Saturday, May 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Mother’s Day Craft for kids 2 to 10 years old.
Saturday, June 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Father’s Day Craft for kids 2 to 10 years old.
