During the Fredonia Elementary School’s Fall open house event, the Fredonia Elementary PTA (Parent Teacher Association) partnered with the school and Usborne Book Consultant, Casey Seidel, to hold a successful book fair event.

The book fair helped to reward ‘Reach For the Stars’ students who completed a summer reading challenge.

Additionally, families were encouraged to purchase book titles with the understanding that funds raised would purchase new books for the school. Librarian Liz Gruber worked with Seidel to purchase some terrific books.

“Partnering with our school and community to foster literacy and learning will help our children become lifelong learners. News books are a great way to excite students and promote reading for all grade levels and subject areas,” noted Gruber.

The students are thrilled to be able to enjoy these new books.
