Family Math Night was held in Brocton and hosted by the SUNY Fredonia Department of Mathematical Services on the evening of Oct. 24. Students who are in Pre-K through 8th grade and their family came dressed in their favorite Halloween costume to participate in this event. Students and their partners tackled math problems together which required knowledge of math and problem-solving skills. Students rotated from various stations and were motivated to do their best in order to win a trophy or prize. At the end of the evening an award ceremony took place to honor the student and parent who excelled at each station. Thanks to everyone who participated in this event and made it a success!
