The barbecue dinner includes Chiavetta’s chicken, cole slaw, potato salad and roll/butter, plus cookies, coffee, soft drinks and water. This is a BYOB event.
The jovial David Brown, auctioneer, will start the live auction bidding for a variety of higher value items, cultural and sports event tickets and get-away packages at 6:30 p.m.
Some of the items up for grabs in the three different auctions (Chinese, silent and live) include a stay at the Westgate Condominium in Orlando, Florida, Buffalo Bills game tickets, a one-night stay at Chautauqua Suites, and two tickets to the June 23 Alison Krauss concert at Chautauqua Institution.
Other auction listings include a five-burner gas grill, a Windsor art print, backyard dinner for four people, a variety of collectible coins, a Fit Bit Charge 2, an Instant Pot 10-in-1 multi-sue pressure cooker and two cookbooks, a Chautauqua Institution day pass and parking, and three one-hour kayak, canoe and/or stand-up paddle board rentals for two people. Plus, there will be numerous gift baskets, homemade items, gift certificates to local restaurants and gift cards. Truly, there will be something for everyone.
Tickets are $12 each and are on sale now. Advance purchase of tickets is highly recommended, as this event is often a sell-out.
Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a dinner.
