Fredonia Parks/Village Beautification and Planting Day – Part 2 will take place on Saturday, May 26 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The effort involves planting flowers in and around Barker Common, and up and down Main Street, in conjunction with the Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary Club. For those meeting at 9 to 10 a.m., meet at the gazebo in Barker Common for guidance, tools, mulch, flowers, etc. This event is hosted by Squadron 59 Sons of the American Legion, Fredonia Community Chamber of Commerce and Festivals Fredonia.
