Brocton Preceptor Beta Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi holds ‘Birthday Picnic’
The ladies of the Brocton Preceptor Beta Epsilon Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met Tuesday evening, June 19 at the home of Marie Zambotti, for their annual “Birthday Picnic.” Members brought their favorite dishes to share and they exchanged “birthday gifts” from their Secret Sisters. Their names were revealed finally, as this is their last event for the 2017- 18 year. New Secret Sisters were chosen for the 2018-19 year and members signed up for committees they wish to serve on during the coming year.
Margie Boltz announced the winner of the best Program of the Year as Dana Haskin for her most interesting presentation on the Himalayan Salt Lamps. The winner was presented with a special charm for her Sorority bracelet.
Service Committee members continue to weed the Brocton Arch Park Garden and they are grateful to the village crew (and Mother Nature) for keeping it watered. The colorful flowers which were planted earlier by the ladies are looking quite lovely.
President Gina Hesslink will decide on a date and place for “Beginning Day,” the start of the group’s new year, in August and contact each member.
