Leon Historical Society news

Leon Historical Society will present an educational program from January through December. “Pioneer’s Journal” is designed for children 8 to 12 or older who like to learn history. The program is available to area libraries, schools and any other interested group, free of charge.

The Leon Historical Society Museum, located on route 62 in Leon will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 pm. on Saturdays.

New this year: “Pioneer’s Journal” will be displayed. The public is welcome.

On June 25, the monthly meeting of the LHS will take place at the Historical Church on Route 62. Bring a dish to pass for the 6 p.m. pot luck dinner. The meeting will follow.
