Randy Graham, Brandon Hatch in concert Aug. 17
MAYVILLE — Randy Graham and Brandon Hatch, both local Chautauqua County performers, will grace the Entertainment in the Park Summer Concert Series stage for the Thursday, Aug. 17 performance. This concert will take place at Lakeside Park in the village of Mayville from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Randy Graham, a solo performer, has been performing at this long-held concert series for many years. Brandon Hatch, formerly with the classic rock band Eclipse, has also graced our concert stage in past years. Last summer at this concert series they performed together impromptu at Graham’s concert. This was such a great concert experience that it was decided they needed to join forces again this summer and give a repeat performance for the enjoyment of the concert series audience. Graham uses wireless equipment to wander through the crowd playing guitar and singing popular songs. He has a large repertoire and audiences can make song or artist requests. Hatch is an accomplished guitarist and performer who brings his talents to create a great musical duo. This is a performance you won’t want to miss.
Rainbow the Clown (Jerry Stimson) will also be on hand to entertain the children with face painting and creative balloon sculptures. The Maple Springs Fire Department will be at the performance selling hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and pulled pork, benefiting the fire department. The Mayville Fire Department will also be there offering popcorn and water on a donation basis to benefit the fire department. This is a great opportunity to support two worthwhile organizations.
In case of rain, the performance will be held at the Carlson Community Center also located at Lakeside Park in Mayville. These free performances are brought to you through the generous support and sponsorship by the village of Mayville and town of Chautauqua.
Remember to bring your own seating for the outside performances. A 50/50 drawing will be held at each of the performances this summer, benefiting the Chamber of Commerce (organizers of this concert series) and its work in the community. Call the Mayville/Chautauqua Community Chamber of Commerce at 753-3113 or go to its website at www.mayvillechautauqua.org for more information on this long-held annual summer concert series or the Mayville/Chautauqua area. Join the Chamber Aug. 17 at Lakeside Park on the shores of beautiful Chautauqua Lake in Mayville for an evening of music, food and fun!
