‘Cars 3’ to play tonight at Reg Lenna Center
JAMESTOWN — Reg Lenna Center for The Arts continues its autumn programs with a Sensory Friendly presentation of the animated film “Cars 3” today at 2 p.m.
Disney-Pixar’s “Cars 3” roars onto the screen over the weekend. Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers led by arrogant hotshot Jackson Storm, the legendary Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) is suddenly sidelined and pushed from the sport he loves. To get back on track, he’ll need the help of eager young racing technician Cruz Ramirez, inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected twists and turns of fate. When the rubber finally hits the road, proving that number 95 is still in the game, it will test the courage of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage. “Cars 3” is Rated G and is 111 minutes long. During sensory friendly screenings, the sound will be lower and lights kept up higher to help patrons with sensitivity issues. Also, patrons may move around in the seats and talk during the screening without stigma. Sensory friendly matinees are sponsored by Kiwanis of Jamestown and The Resource Center. Admission is $5.
