Reg Lenna asks visitors to use alternative entrance for ‘VoLo’

Reg Lenna Center for The Arts is urging patrons attending Thursday night’s performance of “VoLo” by Diavolo to plan to use the theater’s alternate entrance ahead of what is expected to be a sold out show. The performance is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

“Less than 120 tickets were available on Tuesday afternoon and more than 1,000 people will be coming to the theater,” Marketing Director Len Barry said.

Due to construction in the lobby, the main entrance beneath the marquee is closed to the public. The majority of ticket holders will have to enter the building through the entrance next to the box office at 215 Spring St. Patrons with mobility issues may enter the building through the stage door located in the staff parking lot — also on Spring Street. Staff will be available at this entrance to offer assistance. The box office will open at 6 p.m. Theater doors are expected to open at 6:15 p.m.

“VoLo” by Diavolo is the second event of the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts 2017-18 season expected to have a capacity audience. The Western New York debut of music group Black Violin sold out in October of 2017. The Diavolo dance troupe is touring after making it to the finals of America’s Got Talent in 2017.

Downtown street parking is free after 5 p.m. The All-Pro parking garage across the street from The Reg will offer event parking for $2 a vehicle. The garage’s elevator will be accessible all evening.
