Church of the Living Spirit

This week’s speaker is Frances Walsh. Church services are held every Sunday in the Assembly Hall on Cleveland Avenue in Lily Dale.

Service time is 10:30 to 12:00 and consists of a spiritual talk, a hands on healing, a message demonstration, music, meditation and prayer. Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua will welcome Consulting Minister George Buchanan on Sunday. Buchanan’s sermon, “Beloved Community” will reflect on how we care passionately about our small piece of the planet and how we care deeply for one another. Buchanan asks, “How might we, as a religious people, plan for the changes we need to make on the way to realizing our vision?” We will reflect on this as we worship together.

Dunkirk First United Methodist Church

The Dunkirk First United Methodist Church will hold a turkey dinner on Nov. 14 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The church is located at 601 Washington Ave. The cost is $10 for pre-sale or $10.50 at the door. The meal includes a turkey dinner with all the fixings and pie for dessert and a drink. St. John’s United Church of Christ

St. John’s United Church of Christ, located at 733 Central Ave. in Dunkirk, will hold a ham dinner on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are $9.50 or $10 at the door. Tickets may be picked up at the church office, call 366-7010. Presale/reservations recommended.

Ripley United Methodist Church

Ripley United Methodist Church is hosting an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast today from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Pancakes, sausage, bacon, made-to-order eggs and omelets, home fries, biscuits and sausage gravy, OJ and coffee. $7 all you can eat. This month’s breakfast will benefit Kid’s Konxion Afterschool Program.

United Methodist Churches of Ripley and South Ripley

United Methodist Churches of Ripley and South Ripley will present classically trained vocalist George Miller in concert on Sunday, Nov. 12. The first performance will be at 9:30 a.m. at the South Ripley UMC, located at 10008 North East-Sherman Road, South Ripley. There will be another performance at the Ripley UMC, 84 W. Main St., Ripley at 11 a.m. Donations and offering will be accepted.
