Church of the Living Spirit

This week’s speaker is Lucinda Wilson. This week’s medium is Gerta Lestock. Church services are held every Sunday in the Assembly Hall on Cleveland Avenue in Lily Dale.

Service time is 10:30 a.m. to noon and consists of a spiritual talk, a hands-on healing, a message demonstration, music, meditation and prayer.

South Dayton Free Methodist Church plans “Sidewalk Gang” Vacation Bible School

The South Dayton Free Methodist Church, 327 Pine St., South Dayton, will hold “Sidewalk Gang” Vacation Bible School every Friday July 6 through Aug. 24 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Featured activities include Bible stories, music, crafts, games, and lots of fun and fellowship for the children. Lunch will be provided each day. Family and friends are invited to the special closing program on Aug. 24.

Sidewalk Gang Vacation Bible School will take place every Friday from July 6 through Aug. 24 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the South Dayton Free Methodist Church, 327 Pine St., South Dayton. Lunch will be provided each day. Activities will include Bible stories, music, crafts, games and lots of fun and fellowship for the children.

Family and friends are invited to attend the special closing program on Aug. 24.

Trinity United Church of Christ community meal July 14

Trinity United Church of Christ will host a community meal on Saturday, July 14 from 4 to 6 p.m., at 30 Erie Ave., Gowanda. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. There is no charge. Free will donations are not necessary, but are appreciated. This month’s menu includes hot dogs, pasta salad, chips and a pickle, watermelon dessert and a beverage. Handicapped access is available on Erie Avenue. The next community meal will be Aug. 11.

Ripley United Methodist Summer Vacation Bible School

The Ripley United Methodist Summer Vacation Bible School theme this year is “Weird Animals.”

Classes will take place on Mondays, Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27 at the Ripley United Methodist Church, 84 W. Main St. Ripley from 4 to 6 p.m.
