Wright Memorial Presbyterian Church plans breakfast and bake sale today

Wright Memorial Presbyterian Church will hold a breakfast and bake sale on Saturday, Sept. 1 from 9 to 11 a.m., at 12672 Route 438, Irving. The cost is $6.50 per breakfast. There will also be a Chinese auction.

Church of the Living Spirit

This week’s speaker is Rev. Cara Seekings. This week’s medium is Bobbie Caswell. Church services are held every Sunday in the Assembly Hall on Cleveland Avenue in Lily Dale.

Service time is 10:30 a.m. to noon and consists of a spiritual talk, a hands-on healing, a message demonstration, music, meditation and prayer.

Ripley United Methodist Church breakfast Sept. 8

Ripley United Methodist Church, located at 84 W. Main St., Ripley, is hosting an All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 7:30 to 11 a.m. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, made-to-order eggs and omelets, home fries, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee. The cost is $7 for “all you can eat.”

This month’s breakfast will benefit the Quincy Cemetery Association.

Dunkirk First United Methodist Church plans dinner

Dunkirk First United Methodist Church, located at 601 Washington Ave., Dunkirk is having a Swiss steak dinner on Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Tickets are $9.50. The menu features Swiss Steak, mashed potatoes, vegetables, a roll, beverage and homemade pies for dessert.
