Rotarians Dan Smith and Luci Petrella introduced the three high school seniors and read summaries of their notable accomplishments. Each student made a brief statement about his or her future college and career plans. These seniors were chosen to receive this Rotary Club’s recognition by administrators and counselors of each of their schools. The honorees and their parents were invited to attend a dinner meeting with club members present, which was held at The Parkview in Westfield.

Logan has participated in various sports throughout her middle and high school years, although a serious knee injury during a freshman year soccer game resulted in her having ACL reconstruction surgery and being sidelined during a year and half of recovery. In the spring of her sophomore year, she played varsity softball, for which she earned the CCAA League Sportsmanship Award. Logan, who was captain of the varsity softball team in her junior year, also received the CCAA Second Team All-Star designation and the Coach’s Award in that season. Outside of school Logan has volunteered with the Toys for Tots motorcycle run for three years.

Her hobbies include drawing, painting, playing recreational games of soccer and softball, exercising, and watching old movies.
