Silver Creek Class of 1948 celebrates reunion
The Silver Creek High School Class of 1948 celebrated 70 years with a mini reunion at the Colony Restaurant on Sunday afternoon, August 12, 2018. The event was organized by Mary Lou Pagano. The meeting was opened by Mary Lou Pagano, with a welcome to all. A prayer at the beginning and at the end of the evening was given by Bob Sutehall. A memorial prayer was also given by Bob Sutehall, as he named all the deceased members of the class. Mary Lou Pagano read notes from classmates who could not attend. Guests for the afternoon included Lorraine Dunkel, Tony Hoppa, Ellyn Sutehall, Marilyn Smith, Dora Gage, and Nancy Clees. A great time was had by all, reminiscing about their school days. A group photo was taken by Ellyn Sutehall. It was decided to celebrate 71 years next year with another mini reunion. It was also suggested to have this event on August 2, 2019 with a luncheon on Sunday afternoon. A motion was passed and seconded to make a reservation at the Colony Restaurant for this event.
