Dr. Lauren E. Drozdiel and Dr. Joseph E. Cirrincione

Dr. Lauren E. Drozdiel and Dr. Joseph E. Cirrincione were united in marriage on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2 p.m. in St. Joseph Cathedral in Buffalo. The Reverend Monsignor J. Patrick Keleher, longtime friend of the bride’s family, joyfully officiated at the nuptial mass. The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Shirley Drozdiel of Silver Creek. The groom is the son of Joseph and Debra Cirrincione of Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Kathryn Drozdiel, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and Matthew Handlow, childhood friend of the groom, served as best man. Bridesmaids were Danielle Galas, Meghan Hudec, Sarah Shelden Konad, Courtney Leek, and Brianne Piedimonte, friends of the bride, along with Catherine Cirrincione, sister of the groom. Groomsmen were Brian Griffin, Frank Posega, Christopher Rodden, Thomas J. Walk, Christopher Warman, and Steven Wilson, friends of the groom. Olivia Piedimonte, daughter of the bride’s childhood friend and bridesmaid, Brianne Piedimonte, was the flower girl. Brothers Ryan and Maximus Handlow, sons of the best man, were ring bearers. As the senior of the three young attendants, Ryan, age nine, pulled the two-year-olds down the aisle in a decorated Red Flyer wagon used by the groom as a child.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore an organza ballgown with tiered skirt and a bodice adorned with Swarovski crystals and pearls and a cathedral length veil. Her wedding attire included lace from her paternal grandmother’s veil, a locket from her maternal grandmother, and lace from the groom’s maternal grandmother.

The newlyweds welcomed guests at a cocktail hour on the third floor of Buffalo’s Hotel Henry Urban Resort and Conference Center. A reception followed in the fourth floor ballroom where guests enjoyed signature cocktails, fine food, the Pittsburgh style cookie table, and dancing the night away!

The bride is a graduate of Duquesne University and is Head Pharmacist and Pharmacy Team Leader with Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. The groom, also a graduate of Duquesne University, is a Managing Market Liaison for Otsuka Pharmaceutical in Pittsburgh.

After honeymooning in Italy, the newly married couple is at home in Pittsburgh awaiting a new addition to their family, a miniature goldendoodle.
