of Planning seeks volunteers
The City of Dunkirk Department of Planning and Development is looking for volunteers from the community to assist with a residential housing survey. The department has received grant funding to survey the outside condition of all residential properties in the city. The data collected will be used to help address issues related to vacant and distressed properties.
Volunteers will be trained to assess the outer condition of residential properties and will conduct the survey on foot. The expected time commitment is 20-30 hours throughout September and into October.
The first kick-off meeting and training will be held tonight, at 6 p.m. in the Fredonia Incubator. If interested, contact Community Development Planner Matthew Bourke at 366-9878 or email@example.com.
