¯ LAKEWOOD — Alexis Guzman, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Saturday. Guzman was pulled over on Fairmount Avenue for a traffic violation, police say. Troopers smelled marijuana from inside the vehicle and allegedly, during the investigation, there was a small bag containing marijuana and two marijuana smoking devices. Guzman was issued an appearance ticket to Lakewood Village Court at a later date.

¯ CHAUTAUQUA — Jennifer A. Bennett, 35, of Mount Pleasant Road, Sherman, was charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and moved from lane unsafely on Friday at 9 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to a one-car accident on Brumagin Road in the town of Chautauqua. Deputies located a ditched vehicle with no one around. It was discovered that Bennett fled the scene to her residence, police say. Bennett was charged and issued an appearance ticket for Sherman Town Court and Chautauqua Town Court at later dates.
