≤ ELLICOTT — Kristen G. Simmons, 42, of Bemus Point, was charged Sunday Sept. 10 with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to dim head lamps.
At around 2:15 a.m. deputies observed a vehicle traveling westbound on Route 430, committing a traffic violation. After stopping the vehicle, they allegedly found the operator, Simmons to be intoxicated.
Simmons was taken into custody, charged and released to a sober party and will appear back in Ellicott town court at a later date to answer her charges.
≤ ELLERY — Megan A. March, 33, of Bemus Point was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and parking on highway.
At around midnight deputies observed a vehicle parked in the roadway on Route 430 in Ellery. Deputies approached the vehicle and found a March asleep behind the wheel of the running vehicle. After a brief investigation, deputies allege that March had been operating the vehicle in an intoxicated stated. She was taken into custody and charged.
March was processed and released to a sober party and will appear back in the Ellery Town Court on a later date to answer her charges.
≤ STOCKTON — Joshua Burke, 29, of Stockton, was charged Tuesday with petit larceny.
After a lengthy investigation, deputies allege that Burke had stolen a generator from property on Bruyer Road on July of 2017. Burke was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in the Stockton Town Court.
