Warner Place open House Thursday

Warner Place Medical-Model Adult Day Health Care Program, located at 155 Aldren Ave. on the Lutheran Campus in Jamestown, will have an open house on Thursday, Sept. 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. The event and tour will highlight all of the skilled nursing services offered by Warner Place during the day allowing registrants the freedom to remain home with their families in the evening. Light refreshments will be provided. The open house is free and open to the public.

Maker Meetup set for today

Learn about the Maker Movement in Chautauqua County during an informative social gathering in the Science Center on the campus of The State University of New York at Fredonia on today from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. County Executive debate Thursday

The public is invited to submit questions for the upcoming debate for County Executive between Mike Ferguson and George Borrello on Thursday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. at Spire Theater (317 E. Third St., Jamestown.) Those who have a question for either or both candidates, should send them by Thursday, Sept. 14 to JAllison5@windstream.net. Please keep the questions brief. The more brief, the higher the likelihood of having the question be considered in the debate. Sponsored by the Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots, this debate will be unique in that each candidate will be given the set of questions ahead of time for the debate.

Willowbrook Park Cemetery meeting rescheduled

The annual meeting of Willowbrook Park Cemetery has been changed from Tuesday, Sept. 19 to Tuesday, Oct. 17. The meeting will be at 10:30 a.m. in the cemetery chapel located on the grounds of Willowbrook Park Cemetery on Central in Dunkirk.
