¯ JAMESTOWN — Adam M. Belovarac, 22, of Buffalo was taken into custody and charged with several offenses after his vehicle was stopped by deputies on Fluvanna Avenue Friday just after 3 a.m.

According to reports, Belovarac had committed several traffic violations, leading to an investigation that determined he was intoxicated. He was also allegedly in possession of narcotic pills. His charges include aggravated driving while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher; DWI; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; failure to signal a turn; failure to use designated lane; and operating the wrong way on a one-way.

He was processed and released with citations returnable to Jamestown City Court.
