≤ JAMESTOWN — Brandon Dailey, 23, of Jamestown, was taken into custody Monday after troopers stopped his vehicle on Route 60 for an alleged traffic violation. According to reports, troopers smelled marijuana when interviewing Dailey, and then located a marijuana smoking device inside the vehicle; Dailey also failed several standard field sobriety tests. He was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He is due back in Ellicott Town Court to answer his charges.

¯ Desirae Camacho, 21, of Fredonia, was taken into custody Sunday at about 2:30 a.m. in the town of Dunkirk. According to reports, deputies stopped Camacho’s vehicle on Route 60 for alleged traffic violations, and then found Camacho to be driving while intoxicated. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and moving from a lane unsafely. She will answer for herself in Dunkirk Town Court.
¯ SHERIDAN — Thomas Schibetta, 53, of Fredonia, was charged with several offenses on Sunday at about 11:30 p.m. According to reports, deputies observed Schibetta fail to stop at a stop sign on Swamp Road, and proceeded to investigate; after interviewing Schibetta, deputies ascertained that he was intoxicated. His charges include driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and failure to stop at a stop sign. He will answer his charges in Sheridan Town Court.
