¯ SILVER CREEK — Jerrod D. Kirtley, 22, of Silver Creek, was charged with second-degree assault on Saturday at about 12:10 a.m. According to reports, deputies responded to reports of a physical altercation at a residence, and when they arrived, they called EMS to evaluate the female victim. She was transported via ambulance to Lake Shore Hospital in Irving. Kirtley was taken into custody, then held at Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail, which was set in Silver Creek Village Court at $5,000 cash or $15,000 property bond.
¯ ELLICOTT — Richard L. Ellis, 53, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Sunday at about 2:50 a.m. According to reports, deputies stopped Ellis’s vehicle on South Alleghany Avenue for an observed traffic violation, and when they interviewed Ellis, he was found to be intoxicated and taken into custody. He was additionally charged with speed in zone. He was arraigned in Ellicott Town Court and taken to Chautauqua County Jail.
