Task force nabs coke dealer
HANOVER — Another coke dealer got popped by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and Drug Enforcement Agency on Wednesday.
According to reports, Franklin R. Kettle, 36, of Irving, was taken into custody at about 3 p.m. after an investigation by the agencies involved. It is alleged by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force that Kettle sold quantities of cocaine to an agent of the task force in the town of Hanover.
He was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Kettle was transported to Chautauqua County Jail without bail pending his arraignment in Chautauqua County Court.
The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force comprises members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Dunkirk Police Department.
