¯ SILVER CREEK — Chautauqua County deputies administered Narcan to a 38-year-old female on Main Street on Friday. At 3:13 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the residence where an unresponsive female was administered Narcan. Meanwhile, a male suspect was on the scene and needed to be stabilized and transported to Lake Shore Hospital for further treatment. Silver Creek Fire Department and Rescue Squad assisted the scene.
¯ SILVER CREEK — Evan G. Ward, 21, of Hickory Street, Silver Creek, was charged with five counts of second-degree forgery, five counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and five counts of petit larceny on Monday at 3 p.m. Ward was arrested on a warrant for allegedly stealing checks and forging the owner’s name on them. There were five different occurrences. Ward was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail with bail set at $15,000. He will appear in Silver Creek Village Court at a later date.
¯ RIPLEY — Roy Rebel Yokom, 41, of Northeast, Pennsylvania, was given numerous charges in New York and Pennsylvania on Saturday. Sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop a westbound motorcycle that was allegedly going 80 mph in a 40 on Route 20 at 11:29 a.m. The driver was pursued into Northeast, Pennsylvania, where he supposedly crashed on Route 426. Yokom was not injured, but was incarcerated without bail in Northeast. Yokom also had an outstanding warrant out of Ripley.
¯ Jeffrey Switzer, 33, of Canadaway Street, Fredonia, was charged with petit larceny on May 31. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a business on Vineyard Drive in the town of Dunkirk at roughly 8:30 a.m., where a reported theft occurred. Switzer allegedly stole approximately $150 cash from a business he was employed at. An arrest warrant was issued and on Friday, Switzer was arrested. He will appear in Dunkirk Town Court at a later date.
