Two charged with possessing fentanyl
HANOVER — Two people are accused of possessing fentanyl on June 2 on Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, around 6:20 p.m., deputies were called for a suspicious situation. Upon arrival, deputies found Danielle Degolier, 23, of North Collins and Daven Battaglia, 27, of Hamburg in alleged possession of a controlled substance.
Upon further investigation and testing, the alleged substance was found to be fentanyl.
Degolier and Battaglia were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. They were released with appearance tickets and will appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.
Westfield Police Department
¯ Alexandra Rymko, 23 of Westfield and Mark C. Baker, 29, of Tonawanda were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on July 4.
At about 7:30 a.m., it is alleged that Rymko was found to be in possession of a marijuana pipe and a small glass container containing marijuana, and Baker was allegedly found to be in possession of a marijuana cigar. Rymko and Baker were issued appearance tickets and will appear in Westfield Village Court at a later date.
