¯ PANAMA — Huberto Enrique Morales Garcia, 40, of Crown Dr., Fairlawn, Virginia, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, speed in zone and failure to keep right on Sunday at 9:11 a.m. Deputies responded to a complaint of a white car with a Virginia plate that was allegedly being reckless on Panama Road in the town of Harmony.
Deputies later observed that vehicle speeding and it failed to keep right while deputies were attempting to stop it, police say. After submitting the breath test, Garcia was charged with aggravated DWI. Garcia was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail with bail set at $1,000.
¯ POLAND — Brett J. Chamberlain, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater and speed unreasonable and prudent on Friday at 11:08 p.m. Deputies responded to a property damage auto accident on Interstate 86 at Exit 14. Chamberlain was attempting to leave via Exit 14, but allegedly failed to reduce his speed and was unable to make the turn on the curve. The vehicle overturned several times before stopping. Chamberlain was arrested on the charges and released to appear in Poland Town Court at a later date.
