¯ Donnice L. Young, 23, of West Hill Street, was charged with inadequate license plate light, unlicensed operation and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation on Saturday at 12:44 a.m. Patrol stopped Young’s vehicle for an alleged inadequate license plate light. During this stop, a DMV computer check revealed that Young had only a driver’s permit that had expired on May 21, 2017. It was also revealed that Young’s license was suspended on Aug. 11, 2016 and again for Oct. 14, 2016 for her failure to pay a traffic fine in Perrysburg Town Court and her failure to appear in Collins Town Court for a traffic citation. Young was arrested and released to appear in Collins Town Court at a later date.

¯ HANOVER — Robert K. Shumaker, 37, of Angell Road, was charged with second-degree harassment and second-degree criminal contempt on Monday at 3:55 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies responded to an address on Angell Road, where it is alleged that an order of protection was violated. Shumaker was charged and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail with bail set at $2,000 cash/$4,000 property.

¯ Ryan M. Clutter, 21, of South Dayton was treated for minor injuries Sunday after the vehicle he was driving struck a tree. Clutter accidentally hit the tree after he had swerved to avoid hitting a deer and went off the roadway.

Clutter was treated at the scene by Sheridan Fire and Alstar Ambulance. No charges were given.

¯ PANAMA — Arthur Millace, 56, of Panama, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt on Aug. 30. Troopers responded to a residence in Panama, where it is alleged that Millace came onto the property verbally harassing the 911 caller and their family. An order of protection had been served on Millace, directing him to avoid all contact. Millace was placed under arrest, processed by state police, arraigned at Clymer Town Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail. He will answer his charges later this month in Harmony Town Court.

¯ Brian Green, 42, of Lakewood, was arrested as a fugitive from justice on Aug. 31. Troopers responded to an accident in Dunkirk, where an investigation revealed that Green struck a vehicle on Chestnut Road, police say. It was later found that Green had an outstanding warrant from Bleckley County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia. Green was taken into custody, processed by the state police and arraigned in Dunkirk Town Court. He was later remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

¯ FREWSBURG — Adam Story, 42, of Frewsburg, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief on Friday after troopers responded to a call of a disorderly person. Allegedly, the investigation found that Story was in an intoxicated state and damaged the interior of a camping trailer, including cabinets and the seating area. Story was arrested and processed by state police. He will appear in Carroll Town Court at a later date.
