Portland man charged in assault
PORTLAND — A 46-year-old man is facing assault charges after an incident early Saturday evening.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report Dennis Campbell had allegedly assaulted and choked another person during a dispute around 5:40 p.m. Campbell was charged with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.
Campbell was arraigned and sent to the Chautauqua County jail. He will answer the charges in the Town of Portland court.
Cattaraugus County Court
Andrew Nosbisch, 29, of Angola, waived prosecution by indictment and entered a plea of guilty by Superior Court Information to Driving While Intoxicated, a Class E felony. The incident occurred on or about July 30, 2017 in the Town of Ellicottville, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle while he was in an intoxicated condition. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 5.
¯ Raymond Santiago-Rodriguez, 44, of Dunkirk, was charged Monday with two counts of petit larceny.
¯ Robert Zimmerman, 60, of Dunkirk, was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal trespass.
¯ Vante Casby of Dunkirk, was charged Wednesday with second-degree harassment.
¯ Wendy Garrett, 48, of Dunkirk, was charged Tuesday, November 8 with petit larceny.
¯ Jermaine Fann, 32, of Dunkirk, was charged Monday with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
¯ Terrell Ezell, 27, of Dunkirk, was charged Saturday with a sewer ordinance.
¯ Maggie Veres of Stockton was charged Wednesday with petit larceny.
¯ Kristopher Seiberg, 25, of Sinclairville, was charged Sunday, November 5 with disorderly conduct.
¯ Henri Young, 18, of Hamburg, was charged Saturday, November 4 with a sewer ordinance.
