¯ SILVER CREEK — The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a warrant check at a residence on Route 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover on Wednesday at around 7:20 p.m.
The warrant check resulted in Bryan R. Novaro, 27, of Irving being taken into custody on an outstanding warrant out of the village of Silver Creek. Novaro was arraigned in the village of Silver Creek Court on charges of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree. Novaro was released under supervision of probation by Judge A. Pearl and is to appear in the Village of Silver Creek Court at a later date.
≤ POMFRET – Rhonda Gens, 44, of Westfield, was recently charged with three counts of petit larceny and two counts of second-degree forgery.
Deputies had received a complaint on Oct. 18 that Gens had committed a crime. After an investigation, deputies determined that between September of 2016 and March of 2017 Gens allegedly stole two bank checks that did not belong to her and forged the owner’s signature.
An arrest warrant was issued and Gens turned herself in. She was released under the supervision of probation.
