Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office
JAMESTOWN — Christina K. Johnson, 38, of Jamestown allegedly failed to properly notify the Chautauqua County Department of Social Services that she had gained employment/income while receiving SNAP/food stamp benefits from Dec. 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015.
This unreported income allowed for Johnson to receive $4,335 in unentitled benefits. She was charged Monday with third-degree grand larceny, third-degree welfare fraud, misuse of food stamps and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing.
Johnson is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
