≤ JAMESTOWN — Gandolfo Loiacono, 47, of Corry, PA was pulled over Saturday for a traffic violation. After failing several field sobriety tests, Loiacono was transported to SP Jamestown where he provided a breath sample of .18.
As Loiacono’s license had been revoked for a previous alcohol related offense, he was additionally charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation (a felony).
Loiacono was released with tickets at the direction of the Kiantone town judge, and he is scheduled to appear in Kiantone Town Court next month.
≤ SHERIDAN — Jordan Mullen, 23, of Chautauqua, was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana after being pulled over for a traffic violation on Route 20.
While speaking to Mullen, the troopers observed a smoking pipe in plain view. During the vehicle search, a bag containing marijuana was located.
Mullen was issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in Sheridan Town Court next month.
≤ MAYVILLE — After responding to a residence for a report of an attack, investigation revealed that Michelle Gilbert, 47, of Mayville, had allegedly struck an individual multiple times in the head, causing pain.
Gilbert was charged with second-degree harassment and was served with a criminal summons to appear in Chautauqua Court at a future date.
¯ Denise J. Dion, 45, of Evans, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and refusal to take breath test on Friday at 10:30 p.m.
Patrol observed Dion’s vehicle leave its traffic lane several times crossing a double yellow line. The vehicle was travelling east on Lake Shore Road and was stopped at 9100 Lake Shore Road.
The officer noticed glassy eyes, slurred speech, poor motor coordination and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage from breath. The field sobriety tests matched the officer’s hypothesis, the report says.
Dion was charged for the listed charges above.

¯ STOCKTON — After pulling over a vehicle for speeding on Route 380 Sunday, deputies found the driver, Andre D. Vicks, 41, of Stockton, to be intoxicated.
Vicks was charged with felony driving while intoxicated (previous conviction within 10 years), felony aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without ignition interlock device and speed in zone.
Vicks was arraigned in Stockton Town Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
¯ MAYVILLE — After pulling over a vehicle for speeding on North Erie Street on Friday evening, deputies found the driver, James Armstrong, 61, of North East PA, to be intoxicated.
Armstrong was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and speed in zone. He will answer his charges in Chautauqua Town Court.
¯ GERRY — A house fire occurred at 2642 Gerry-Ellington Road on Monday at 9:30 p.m. Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team conducted an on scene investigation and determined that the blaze began by an overheated chimney stove pipe that caught combustible materials.
The house rafters were on fire and were extinguished by the Gerry Fire Department.
