Area police: Dunkirk men charged with marijuana, ecstacy drugs
FALCONER — A traffic stop on county Route 380 in the village led to drug charges on Thursday for two Dunkirk residents.
State Police at Jamestown report Jordan Kujawa, 25, and Dylan Anzalone-Rosario, 24, were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Kujawa was pulled over by troopers for a traffic violation and while speaking to Kujawa, the troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.
After searching the vehicle and occupants the following contraband was located: a container with ecstacy capsules weighing over eight grams, a bag containing .68 grams of ecstacy capsules and a bag containing marijuana. Kujawa and Anzalone-Rosario were placed under arrest, transported to the Jamestown barracks and processed.
Kujawa and Anzalone-Rosario were then arraigned in the town of Ellicott Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
