SILVER CREEK — After pulling over a vehicle on Central Avenue for an alleged equipment violation, deputies found the driver Brandon W. Klitz, 33, of Silver Creek, to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Klitz was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Silver Creek Village Court at a later date.

While arresting Jordan W. Hebner, 19, of Westfield Thursday on a warrant issued by Dunkirk City Court, Hebner was found to be in possession of stolen property from an incident that occurred in Fredonia on Wednesday.

Hebner was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and was turned over to Dunkirk Police for his warrant.

¯ Olivia T. Chipman, 30, of Hamburg, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration on Tuesday at 7:27 p.m.

Chipman’s vehicle passed patrol heading southbound on Eden-Evans Center Road as the license plate reader had a hit for an insurance lapse. Chipman was charged and released to appear at a later date.

¯ Jamie A. Moskal, 22, of Blasdell, was charged with displaying a forged certificate without inspection, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and other related charges on Tuesday at 6:04 p.m.

Patrol pulled over Moskal’s vehicle on Walkers Street at Erie Road. Upon running the vehicle’s registration, it showed a 2002 black Chevrolet Tracker, not a gray 2001 Chevrolet Tracker. The officer noticed that the license plates, registration sticker and inspection sticker were switched from the black Tracker.

Moskal was additionally charged with operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate, operating an unregistered motor vehicle on the highway, operating a motor vehicle with improper plates and no seat belt for driver. Moskal was arrested and released to appear in Evans Town Court at a later date.

¯ Russell A. Toepfer, 21, of Evans, was charged with speed in zone, operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate and other related charges on Jan. 22.

At 9:09 p.m., patrol stopped Toepfer’s vehicle for alleged speeding. The DMV computer check revealed that the vehicle’s registration and inspection data expired on Oct. 31, 2017. Patrol noticed that a gray 2018 inspection sticker was displayed, but not matching the system.

Toepfer was taken into custody and released to appear in Evans Town Court on March 12, 2018.

¯ Jessica L. Lopez, 29, of Evans, was arrested on warrant out of the town of Hamburg on Jan. 22.
