ASHVILLE — After pulling over a vehicle Thursday on Route 394 for a traffic violation, deputies found that the driver Bridget G. Putman, 25, of Falconer, was in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.
Putman was arrested and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, operating outside interlock restriction, unlicensed operator and inadequate muffler.
Putman will answer her charges in Harmony town court at a later date.
HANOVER — A 17-year-old young man was taken into custody and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief after deputies were called to a residence where the teenager was allegedly being disorderly.
After an investigation, deputies found that the youth had damaged property at the residence. He was arraigned in Hanover town court and was remanded to Chautauqua County jail on bail.
