¯ Laurie M. Wellman, 41, of Hamburg, was charged with third-degree unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and other related charges on Feb. 27.
At 11 p.m., patrol stopped a vehicle operated by Wellman for speeding on Erie Road. During the investigation, Wellman was allegedly uncooperative and attempted to flee. Patrol took Wellman into custody in a driveway on Meadow Lane. The DMV computer check found she had active warrants from Brant and Lackawanna police departments. Patrol booked Wellman and transported her to Lackawanna Police.
¯ Allen R. Eich, 59, of Evans, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and an equipment violation for no/inadequate plate lamp on Feb. 28.
At 9:42 p.m., patrol pulled over a vehicle operated by Eich on Erie Road. Patrol allegedly smelled an odor of marijuana from the vehicle. A small, transparent container with marijuana, a metal pipe with burnt marijuana and a pair of scissors with burnt marijuana were allegedly found in the possession of Eich. In the center console, a semi-transparent container with marijuana was also allegedly found.
Eich will appear in Evans Town Court at a later date.
¯ Daniel M. Getman, 33, of Buffalo, was charged with equipment violation for no/inadequate lights and unlawful possession of marijuana on Friday.
At 10 p.m., patrol stopped a vehicle operated by Getman on Lake Shore Road just inside of the town of Hamburg. Upon investigation, patrol detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the inside of the vehicle. Patrol allegedly found around $20 worth of marijuana from the sun visor on the driver’s side.
Getman will appear in Evans Town Court on March 19.
¯ Christopher J. Schneider, 29, of Brant, was charged with disorderly conduct (obstructing traffic) on Saturday at 12:25 a.m.
Patrol was dispatched to Commercial Street for an alleged drunk and disorderly male. Upon the patrol’s arrival, the offender was fleeing from Angola Department of Public Works into the roadway. The patrol had to brake to avoid striking him.
Schneider was charged and released to appear in Evans Town Court at a later date.

¯ BRANT — Paul Dingeldey, 29, of Blasdell, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Feb. 20.
At 1:10 a.m., Troopers stopped a vehicle that Dingeldey operated for allegedly depositing refuse on Route 20. He was allegedly found to be in possession of 2 grams of marijuana in a plastic bag.
Dingeldey will appear in Brant Town Court later this month.
¯ IRVING — Joshua Paterson, 29, of Perrysburg, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana on Feb. 20.
At 1:45 a.m., Troopers pulled over a vehicle on Buffalo Road for an unauthorized sticker on the windshield. Troopers detected an odor of marijuana and allegedly found Paterson, the passenger, to be possession of a marijuana cigarette, a glass smoking pipe with burnt marijuana residue and approximately .20 grams of MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy.
The driver was Danielle Johnston, 23, of Perrysburg. She was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. Allegedly, she was in possession of hydrocondone in a non-original container.
They will both appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.
¯ COLLINS — Drew Weinheimer, 61, of Collins, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on Feb. 28.
At 2:30 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to a complaint of an operator possibly having a medical emergency on Route 62. Troopers located and stopped the vehicle on Taylor Hollow Road for failure to keep right.
The operator, Weinheimer, was allegedly intoxicated and was taken into custody. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .20.
Weinheimer is due in Collins Town Court later this month.
