Dunkirk Police Reports

¯ Matthew Jesse, 30, of Dunkirk, was charged Saturday with petit larceny and resisting arrest.

¯ Luis A. Espada, 30, of Fredonia, was charged Sunday with petit larceny.

¯ Falisha Gnadzinski, 27, of Dunkirk, was charged Monday with endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment.

Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office

¯ GOWANDA — Alan M. Sessanna, 60, of Gowanda, was charged with driving while intoxicated after being stopped on Jamestown Street.

Sessanna was observed making a right turn on red with a no-turn sign present and not using his turn signal.

A subsequent investigation revealed signs of intoxication when Sessanna allegedly failed field sobriety tests. Additional charges include DWI with a blood alcohol content over .08, failure to signal, and improper right turn.

Sessanna is scheduled to answer his charges in Persia Town Court at a later date.

¯ PERSIA — Roxanne M. Wright, 39, of Persia, was taken into custody by deputies after reportedly getting into a physical altercation with another family member.

Wright was charged with second-degree harassment, arraigned in Persia Town Court and released. She is due back in court at a later date.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

¯ CLYMER — Justin Magness, 42, of Clymer, allegedly failed to notify the Chautauqua County Department of Health and Human Services of income within his household from August 1, 2015 through March 31, 2016.

This unreported income allowed for Magness to receive $1,511 in unentitled SNAP/Food Stamp benefits.

Magness was charged on Thursday with misuse of food stamps (felony), fourth-degree welfare fraud, fourth-degree grand larceny and two counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing.

Magness is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
