¯ BROCTON — Randy J. Noftsker, 28, of Brocton, was charged Aug. 16 with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. At about 9:15 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance in the village. Further investigation of the incident realved Noftsker allegedly damaged property that didn’t belong to him. It is also alleged Noftsker threw a vase at a victim and missed, causing damage to the vase. Noftsker was arrested and arraigned by Westfield Town Court, due to the village of Brocton Judge being unavailable. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on $500 cash/$1,000 property.
¯RIPLEY — Seth D. Munson, of Ripley, was taken into custody Tuesday on a warrant out of Pennsylvania. At 10:25 a.m., the county Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division served an active arrest warrant on Munson at an address on Burton Avenue, Ripley. Munson had a warrant out of Pennsylvania for burglary and he was taken into custody without incident. Munson was arraigned in Chautauqua Town Court on a fugitive from justice charge and was committed to Chautauqua County Jail.
