Police: Woman pulled over in North Collins had license revoked 15 times

NORTH COLLINS — A woman pulled over by North Collins village police Saturday has reportedly had her license revoked 15 times.

Towana Seals, 50, of Buffalo was stopped on Main Street at about 3 p.m. for allegedly driving 50 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone. A DMV computer check by the patrol officer revealed Seals lost her license on 15 occasions between September 2013 and July 2016 in various courts for various reasons, such as driving while impaired by drugs, failure to pay fines, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to answer a traffic summons.

Seals was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and speeding, then was released on an appearance ticket for Town of North Collins Court.

¯ STOCKTON — On Sunday at around 11:45 p.m. Deputies observed a vehicle allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed on Route 380 in the town of Stockton. The operator was identified as Joseph P. Nowaczyk, 27, of Hamburg and following an investigation deputies charged him with Aggravated DWI (.18 BAC or greater), DWI and speed in zone. He is due to appear in the Stockton Town Court on a later date.

¯ IRVING — On Monday at 2:45 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to the Sunset Bay Beach Club for a complaint of a disorderly person. Upon arrival, police observed Nicholas L. Bowman, 26, of West Seneca in a verbal altercation with staff and another female. Investigation found Bowman to be in violation of an active order of protection, he was also found to allegedly be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. Bowman was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was released and is due to appear in Hanover Town Court on a later date.

¯ Jose Alvira, 27, of Irving was picked up on a drug court warrant and charged Aug. 30 with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle.

¯ Kayla Wiberg, 26, of Dunkirk was charged Friday with disorderly conduct.

¯ Sasha Reyes, 26, of Jamestown was charged with second degree assault on Friday.

¯ Luciano Maldonado, 39, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with a third-degree criminal sexual act.

¯ Emily Ferry, 21, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene.

¯ Jeremiah Toliver, 39, of Dunkirk was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct.

¯ Dylan Pieszak, 24, of Dunkirk was charged with second degree harassment on Sunday.

¯ Anthony West, 41, of Dunkirk was charged Sunday with second degree harassment, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and resisting arrest.

¯ Travis Eggleston, 29, of Dunkirk was charged Monday with endangering the welfare of a child.
