¯ ASHVILLE — On Wednesday Troopers pulled a vehicle over on Route 474 in Ashville for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as Charles Crissman, 29, of Ashville. During the stop it was found that Crissman allegedly had a warrant out of Warren County, Pa., for failure to pay child support. He was arraigned in North Harmony Town Court and taken to Chautauqua County Jail.

¯ On Nov. 12 at roughly 7:10 p.m., patrol officers stopped a vehicle on Eden Evans Center Road for failure to stop at a stop sign. The driver, Michael R. Jordan, 37, of Buffalo informed the officers his driver’s license had been suspended due to a child support infraction. Once removed from the vehicle, Jordan informed the officers he had marijuana in his pocket and an additional ounce under the seat. Jordan was arrested once his child’s mother arrived to take custody of his child, who was also present inside the vehicle at the time. Jordan was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, failure to stop at a stop sign, and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and was later released on an appearance ticket.
¯ On Nov. 16 at approximately 8:09 p.m., patrol officers stopped a vehicle in a parking lot on Erie Road. The driver, Annmarie A. Paradiso, 43, of Evans, was reportedly found to have a revoked NYS driver’s license with 15 scoffs on seven dates and an active warrant in Lackawanna. Paradiso was arrested for operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation with three or more open suspensions on three or more dates and was released to the Lackawanna Police Department.
